Irish designer Philip Treacy has unveiled his trophy for the Brit Awards
IRISH MILLINER PHILIP Treacy has revealed his design for this year’s Brit Awards trophy.
Treacy has said that he was inspired by punk when coming up with the concept for the statue:
@BritAwards @BritAwards
According to Digital Spy Brits Chairman Christian Tattersfield said that they’re “thrilled” that the Irish designer is on board.
The Brits organisers have also made a mini Instagram movie, showing how the statue has changed over the years since 1977.
James Corden has once again been confirmed as the host of the awards, while Katy Perry and Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed to perform.
Can anything top last year’s awards though, when Mullingar’s own Niall Horan got his paws on a Brit?
