PIERS MORGAN ISN’T having the best week and the internet is absolutely loving it.

The former tabloid editor’s CNN Talk Show was cancelled after three years because the American audience just wasn’t interested any more, apparently.

Morgan told The New York times that Piers Morgan Live has “taken a bath in the ratings” and described its demise as a “painful period”.

And if he thought that was painful, we’re guessing he got an almighty shock when he logged on to Twitter, where Morgan’s misfortune has become cause for celebration.

Jeremy Clarkson was first out of the starting blocks when the news broke.

Buzzfeed wasn’t far behind him.

Then UK TV writer Ian Hyland chimed in.

Back in the USA, some are rejoicing at the idea of getting Morgan out of the country.

We’re not too sure he’ll be welcomed home with open arms though.

Even the recruitment agencies are getting in on it now.
