An Irish baby supping a pint on Nationwide in 1997 has become a phenomenon
THE RTÉ ARCHIVES is a gloriously curated collection of classic clips and moments from down the years on the national broadcaster.
They’re constantly sharing snippets and features that give us an idea on how Ireland used to be back in the day – like this one from the 1982 Late Late Show Valentine’s special last week.

It featured an interview with well known matchmaker Willie Daly in Daly’s Bar, Ennistymon, Clare

A nationwide search is now on to find Pint Baby – we need their take on this revelatory find from the archives.
Would never happen these days.
