A giraffe kicked a lion's arse on Planet Earth last night, and nobody could cope
ANOTHER WEEK, ANOTHER gripping installment of Planet Earth.
Last night’s episode had any stars — the sassy lizard, these horses blessed with gorgeous tresses, this nightmare-inducing swarm of locusts.
The real MVP of the show, however, was this giraffe.

While being pursued in the desert by a hungry pride of lions, this giraffe took it upon himself to beat up a lion
Trying to beat up a lion might seem like a fool’s errand, but as David Attenborough informed us, a giraffe’s kick is so powerful that it can actually kill a lion.
Look at that leg action. Worthy of a spot in Riverdance, if you ask us.

Nobody at home knew who to root for
You’re either rooting for lions to starve or the untimely demise of a giraffe. Why do nature documentaries have to be so tough?
But people were still able to crack jokes
And some even had advice for lions going forward…
