Pope Francis allows little boy to crash the stage at the Vatican

The Pope made a new friend during an event for families in St Peter’s Square.

POPE FRANCIS CELEBRATED Family Weekend at the Vatican in the past few days, hosting a huge gathering for parents and children at St Peter’s Square.

On Saturday evening while meeting with participants in the Pilgrimage for Families a small boy approached the Pope for a closer look.

One of the attending cardinals attempted to move the child, but he was having none of it:

The boy even escorted some more people up on stage to meet the Pope:
