This wine company's 'Taste the Bush' ad campaign is just as smutty as it sounds

Stop the world, etc.

THE WORLD HAS seen a lot of desperate ad campaigns, but this may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Online wine company Premier Estates launched its first ad for an Australian Shiraz last week, and it’s…cheeky.

Yes, she just said, with a glass of wine placed suggestively in front of her:

Australia practically jumps out of the glass. In fact, some say you can almost taste the bush.

They’re now asking people to tweet ‘I want to #TasteTheBush’ to win a case of wine.

According to thegrocer.co.uk, the ad campaign aims to “debunk the pompous blandness” of the wine industry:

We hope our customers will love the #TasteTheBush campaign as much as we do – it captures the brand’s unique British humour and banter.

Ah, there’s the heart of it. Banter.

Basically, everyone is like: “Premier Estates, STAHP.”

We don’t know about you, but now we don’t really feel like drinking wine ever again. Premier Estates, what have you done?
