An Irish man just arrived home for Christmas and proposed to his girlfriend in Dublin Airport

And she said YES.

DUBLIN AIRPORT AT this time of year is a romantic place at the best of times, and this morning saw it hit new heights.

Irish man Martin Mulroe arrived home from Australia this morning and decided to propose to his long term girlfriend Louise Mooney right there and then at the arrivals gate when she came to meet him.

And she said YES

Today FM news reporter Juliette Gash was on hand – along with plenty others cheering them on.

With Christmas carols being sung in the background, it was a very happy ending to his trip from down under.
