Sarah Linehan tells DailyEdge.ie that she was out walking on the beach with a friend, taking photos of the coastline when she accidentally happened upon this rather lovely moment…
I was walking with a friend and spotted the couple in the distance while I was taking photos of the coastline, they were far off so I zoomed in a little. It looked like she said yes after anyway!
Linehan continued on her way and when she got back to her car, she regretted not giving the photo to them.
We walked back to the car and I was in two minds of whether I should have gone over to them to give them the pic or not, but it was too late at that stage!
Now Linehan is looking to reunite the happy couple with the gorgeous photo, having posted it on Facebook and encouraged people to share it around.
So far, she’s had no luck in tracking them down, but she remains hopeful.
