Puppy with birth defects learns to walk...to the Rocky theme song

We promised ourselves we wouldn’t cry.

HE’S THE LITTLE puppy that could.

Adorable Boston terrier Mick was born with Swimmer Puppy Syndrome. This means that Mick was unable to sit, stand or walk due to a flat chest and sternum which disabled him from getting his legs under his body. The syndrome can affect any breed of dog, and causes them to take the appearance of lying on their stomach.

Sadly, such pups don’t often make it after a few weeks due to pressure on their organs. But, before you turn into a foetal ball of emotion–there’s hope to be found.

After intense therapy from the Mia Foundation, something amazing happened, with a great finale soundtrack to boot. Watch and see.
