Quarter Life Poetry contains illustrated poems that perfectly encapsulate the occasional grimness of being a twentysomething. The whole thing is the brainchild of US actress and writer Samantha Jayne, who describes herself as “technically an adult”. (Same.)
They’re all highly enjoyable, though some of the illustrations may hit a little too close to home.
Like the way you completely ignore all washing instructions on your clothes and just employ the “fingers crossed!” method.
