RED WINE IS great. Brownies are great. So it seems right that putting them together would be brilliant.
‘Red wine brownies’ are the latest food invention to capture the internet’s heart – and happily, they’re very easy to make.
It’s not a brand new idea, but US website Country Living can be credited with starting the mania for the boozy treats after their recipe went viral on Facebook.
They advise you to soak cranberries in red wine then add them to your homemade mix, as this recipe specifies.
Or you could simply replace the water you’d use in a boxed brownie mix with wine. We’re not saying to take the easy way out, but if you just so happened to need them with great haste…
