DRIVERS IN CULVER City are complaining about new parking restriction signs that stand at about 15 feet tall.
According to Curbed, the parking restrictions in the Los Angeles city recently changed and 10 of the 8-sign-high totem poles were put up around a local elementary school in an attempt to explain the ‘student valet service’.
The only problem is, you probably need a doctorate to figure it out.
The city’s mayor quickly posted a comment to the Curbed article simple saying:
Yes, this looks ridiculous, so I called the traffic engineer. The signs will be taken down this afternoon.
While the signs haven’t been completely removed, a few unnecessary ones have been taken from the poles.
Local resident Terry Smith told ABC7, “It would take you longer to read this than to park here.”
Well that went well.
