IT HASN’T EVEN released yet, but it’s fairly evident that Rihanna’s cosmetic line is a celebration of diversity.
Rihanna has finally released the campaign video for Fenty Beauty and apart from being really cool (in general), it features an extremely diverse lineup of models from every ethnicity you could imagine.
With 40 shades of foundation, the singer is catering to absolutely everyone with the Fenty Beauty range. Some fans slid into Rihanna’s Instagram DMs to try and get all of the essential info on Fenty Beauty.
Firstly, Rihanna told Instagram user @devotedtorihanna that the range is not tested on animals which is always good.
Badgalriri also added that the 40 shades have been created so that Rihanna can ‘represent for my girls and we come in all shades! Especially my brown sisters… been left out too many times in the makeup world!’
The products will be sold online from fentybeauty.com (and in Sephora and Harvey Nichols stores abroad). The release date is this Friday, the 8th of September.
Another fan who was in touch with Rihanna on Instagram asked if we’ll get a tutorial of Rihanna using the makeup herself when the products drop. Here’s her response.

So far the models featured in Rihanna’s campaign are Slick Woods, Paloma Elsesser, Duckie Thot, Leomie Anderson, Selena Forrest, Indyamarie Jean and Camila Costa.

Dazed Digital did point out that despite the ethnic diversity of the models, they’re all sample size. However, they appear to have deliberately been chosen because they’re all women who are “articulate and brave as well as objectively good looking.”
All of them have been unafraid to speak out on issues that are important to them.
People on Twitter think that the hugely diverse makeup range is going to end the Kardashian/Jenner makeup empire and destroy Jeffree Star’s career.
