License to thrill: Rio Ferdinand wants to be the first black James Bond
MANCHESTER UNITED DEFENDER Rio Ferdinand has big plans for his post-footballing life.
Ferdinand has expressed his desire to become an actor and is keen on one role in particular – as the first black James Bond.
However, he graciously admitted he would also be happy to settle for a less high-profile start to his acting career.
“I’d go for an emotional part, something off the wall,” he said in an interview with FourFourTwo.
“I’ve got too much for a henchman role. I’d need for it to be, I dunno, like Luther.
“Or if they’re looking for a new James Bond, I wouldn’t say that’s out of my comfort zone at all.”
So what do you think? Would Rio make a good James Bond? Let us know in the comments below.
