Rory McIlroy was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and inevitably won another trophy
LAST NIGHT, RORY McIlroy hit the big time stateside.
Sure, he has four Majors to his name and this past month has been the dominant force on any golf course he set his mind to. But American audiences don’t care about that.
They care about how he compares to Tiger Woods and performs on prime time television. Especially if that prime time is the slot filled by chummy Jimmy Fallon.
With Woods still calling in sick with a back injury, McIlroy only had Fallon to challenge in the game of ‘Facebreakers’, and Rors let ‘er rip.
He’s come a long way from chipping into washing machines on the Gerry Kelly show… or maybe it’s the exact same thing, we can’t decide.
