THE RTÉ CHRISTMAS Guide is a bit of an Irish institution.
Highlighting what films you want to watch, finding out what Miriam O’Callaghan has planned for Christmas, getting narky at your family when it’s nowhere to be found on Stephen’s Night — it’s all part and parcel of an Irish Christmas.
This year, the cover of the RTÉ Guide features caricatures of some of Ireland’s best known faces drawn by artist Niall O’Loughlin.
But we have some questions.
Like…
What does Ray D’Arcy make of this #shade?
Oh, damn…
What’s Ryan doing showing off a little bit of his midriff?
Is it supposed to be a little treat for the mammies of Ireland or is his jumper just too small?
We demand to know.
Why is Jennifer Maguire wearing what appears to be an absurdly sexy Halloween costume?
Is she on her way to a different Christmas party? Because it doesn’t look as though any of the rest of them are wearing sexy costumes.
No, but what in God’s name is happening here?
Is that a Baby Mario Rosenstock ogling Miriam O’Callaghan’s boobs? What’s with the creepy/mischievous look on his face? Is he going to tickle her?

Why hasn’t someone put Mrs. Brown to bed?
Or at least pulled down the woman’s skirt.
Let her have some dignity, for crying out loud.
Can we make sure Bryan Dobson does wear a Santa hat on the Six One at some point this Christmas?
Do it for the children, Bryan!
How has Alan Hughes managed to make such a mess out of eating Roses?
Roses aren’t that messy and yet poor Alan seems to have made an absolute hames of eating them here.
:(
Is Marty Morrissey a closet hun?
Because it looks like he spends a lot of time shaping his eyebrows.
And finally, is it really too late to add Teresa Mannion to the cover?
If anyone deserves it…
