Russell Crowe has responded on Twitter to THAT Irish interview

The actor doesn’t mince his words.

EARLIER THIS MORNING we brought you video footage of a Russell Crowe red carpet interview that made you pull a collective cringe muscle.

Russell Crowe was talking to Evoke.ie on the red carpet at Noah’s Dublin premiere when a little question about rugby caused a bit of tension.

The reporter asked Crowe whether his team would play the Irish squad and he was quick to tell her she was confused about rugby union and rugby league.

The story made waves on social media this morning and Crowe waded right into the middle of it with one rather blunt tweet.

The reporter in question wasn’t long responding either.

And Mr Crowe took the time to clarify his position.
