A Facebook page duped almost a million people with a Ryan Gosling adoption hoax
A FAKE FATHER’S Day Facebook post involving Ryan Gosling fooled almost a million Facebook users yesterday.
A Facebook user posing as The Notebook star posted an admission that Gosling had been harbouring a secret son for a whole year. The post details how he took on the son of a female friend who passed away from cancer and had been looking after him until his biological father gained full custody and took him away.
Fans of the unofficial page (which currently has 166,000 likes) believed the story, with commenters going wild for the news.
The likes currently stand at 919,665 and has been shared almost 60,000 times.
Some media outlets such as Closer even reported the story, but have since taken it down.
In all fairness, he could have had a secret kid hidden from the paparazzi for a whole year.
In the words of one commenter:
Abraham Lincoln once said,”Don’t believe everything you read on Facebook.”
Penneys are now selling Ryan Gosling knickers>
How much of a ride is Ryan Gosling, really?>
