EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Last night, Ryan Gosling presented Saoirse Ronan with an award at the Hollywood Film Awards. And just as Saoirse was making her way to the stage, Gosling decided to give the audience a lesson in pronouncing ‘Saoirse’ correctly.

The Daily Mail reports that Gosling said, “There was a little controversy in giving her this award and no it wasn’t how to pronounce her name, although since we’re all here, I thought we could just go over it.”

It’s not Say-or-see or Seer-say or Sor-cery but it probably should be…it’s Ser-sha like inertia.

“Sorcery”.

Gosling then jokingly (we think) introduced the actress as “Saoirse Rohan” with Saoirse having to whisper a correction in his ear.

Sorry, Saoirse Ronan.

And then she got a hug from him backstage.

Nadine Coyle took to Instagram over the weekend to express delight at people dressing up as her passport for Halloween. The former Girls Aloud star shared a photo of a fan dressed up as her passport and captioned the photo…

My “passport” is a Halloween costume.. #lifemade#careergoalsreached

In fairness, it’s an *excellent* costume.

Harry Styles drinks ‘bullet coffee’ to stop him from getting hungry. The One Direction star told The Sunday Times Style magazine that he drinks coffee mixed with butter and coconut oil to stop him from getting hungry during the day.

Bullet coffee. It’s black coffee with a spoonful of butter in it and a spoonful of coconut oil, all mixed up together. I’ve been on it for two days. You don’t get hungry.

*gags*

Elsewhere, the singer put rumours of a feud with Louis Tomlinson to rest last night after the pair were photographed hugging on stage.

It had previously been reported that a ‘bitter feud’ between Tomlinson and Styles was the reason behind the band’s planned hiatus, but look at their happy heads…
