Scarlett Moffat made a great point calling out magazines who keep body shaming her

Everyone needs to give it a rest tbh.

FORMER GOGGLEBOX STAR and TV presenter Scarlett Moffat has had it up to here with your body shaming comments, thanks very much.

After Scarlett uploaded the below photo, a story featuring a candid paparazzi shot in the same outfit resulted in accusations of Photoshopping.

Taking to Twitter, she called out trolls trying to knock her confidence by commenting how different her mirror selfie looked to the candid shots, saying it was the reason women resorted to cosmetic surgery.

She also criticised the media for the outrageously unrealistic beauty standards they have for women, in reference to her own journey with weight loss and body confidence.

Tell me the size I should be please! I got slated when I slimmed down to a size 8 and I get slated when I’m a size 12. So please let me know what measurements I should be. And they wonder why young women are reduced to surgery!”
When online papers/magazines try their hardest to use unflattering photos and drag women down do they realise what they’re doing to peoples mental health. I understand it’s part of the parcel of being in the public eye but Body shaming NEEDS TO STOP!”

After leaving Gogglebox, Scarlett dropped to a size 8, but has admitted in the past how she’s struggled to stay disciplined when it comes to working out. Don’t we all girl?

I’m not superhuman; just an average northern lass who loves a chip shop dinner and doesn’t particularly like yoga or cross-training.”

Moral of the story? Losing or gaining weight isn’t the be all or end all. Let that be the one thing you take from today.
