Apparently four out of five women don't shower every day*

*don’t worry, it’s just British women

A STUDY INTO the grooming habits of women from across the water has found that four out of every five women in Britain don’t shower everyday.

The survey, which was conducted by skincare range Flint + Flint, also found almost two-thirds don’t remove make-up before they go to bed and one in eight admit to not brushing their teeth before bed.

As The Telegraph reports, the survey was conducted on 2,021 women between the ages of 18 and 50 in the UK.

Flint + Flint owner Maxine Flint was a tad judgmental in her assessment of the situation:

I understand the appeal of a lie-in but skipping a morning wash is both anti-social for the people around us and unhealthy. We are talking about routines that literally take minutes out of your day. It’s true that today’s pace of life is fast but surely as a nation we haven’t become too busy to wash.

So, there you are now. Women of Britain – Maxine Flint has laid down the law. She had no comment to make on the Irish situation, thankfully.

Needless to say, everyone has been talking about it online

Things got a little philosophical at times

And in general, people were pretty shocked (with some not believing the findings)

But what about us here in Ireland?

How often do you shower?

Poll Results:

Every day (1693)
Every other day (1674)
Less than the above (341)
