Meet the Sloths is the TV series about sloths you've been waiting for
IF WE’VE SAID it once, we’ve said it a thousand times. When, in God’s name is someone going to give sloths their own tv show?
Well, now we have an answer. Animal Planet has made a show filled with the adorable creatures. The eight-part series, Meet the Sloths, is set to hit American TV screens on November 9 and mid November in this part of the world.
The half hour show will give viewers the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at a sanctuary which is home to more than 150 sloths. Apparently it will feature all the ins and outs of their daily ‘sloth soap opera’ including:
The series was commissioned off the back of a documentary about the creatures which was also called Meet the Sloths.
To celebrate the new series, Animal Planet are allowing you to watch a Sloth Cam 24 hours a day. The camera gives you the opportunity to observe Cocoa, Okra and Bonnie as they go about their lives in Zoo Atlanta.
