IN A NEW advertisement for Snickers in Australia, builders were recruited to holler empowering messages at the ordinary women that passed their workplace.

So stuff like:

YOU WANNA HEAR A FILTHY WORD? GENDER BIAS.

and

I APPRECIATE YOUR APPEARANCE IS JUST ONE ASPECT OF WHO YOU ARE!

The woman are equal parts delighted and freaked out – watch:

We have to say, by the end of the ad we weren’t sure what it was all supposed to mean. Are they saying that the natural state of these builders is misogynistic bullies, and they’re only nice when they’re hungry?

Hmm.
