This SNL sketch about ISIS is upsetting a lot of people
A SATURDAY NIGHT Live sketch poking fun at ISIS is being called “depraved” and “vile” by viewers in the US.
The sketch, featuring host Dakota Johnson (of Fifty Shades of Grey fame) and SNL actor Taran Killam, showed a young woman and her father playfully arguing in a car.
It’s a spoof of a well-known US ad for Toyota cars, in which a father drops his daughter off at the airport to join the army – but there’s a twist…
Reacting on Twitter, viewers failed to see any humour in the skit:
Whoops!
