CORK’S BURGER SCENE just got a whole lot tastier.
A new joint, Son of a Bun, opened today on the site of the old Crowley’s Music Shop on MacCurtain Street.
It’s the brainchild of husband and wife, Niall and Amanda O’Regan, who have just declared ‘the dawn of a new burger’.
They boast that they’re the only restaurant approved by the HSE to serve burgers cooked pink.
This is because we have a clean and transparent supply chain. Our Aberdeen Angus beef comes from the same farm, abattoir and butcher in Bandon, and we mince that beef on site every day to make our signature burgers.

They don’t skimp on ‘em, that’s all you need to know.
The restaurant had their grand opening last night, and we’re reassured they’re testing well.
