How astronauts wash their hair in space (GIFs)
WHAT DO YOU mean, you’ve never washed your hair in zero-gravity conditions?
Here’s a tutorial from astronaut Karen Nyberg, currently in orbit on the International Space Station.
1. Squirt a little bit of water along your hairline, from a squeezy Capri-Sun type bag
2. Try to catch any bits that escape in your hand, and put them back on your head
3. Work it through to the ends, until your hair looks like this
4. Apply no-rinse shampoo and rub it in with a towel (apparently you need to do this when you’re not under running water)
5. Ta-daa! Zero-gravity clean hair.
