Stephen Fry joins Panti's supporters by tweeting video to 6.5 million followers
STEPHEN FRY LAST night joined thousands of people across the world in supporting drag queen Panti Bliss, aka Rory O’Neill, by sharing her Noble Call speech about homophobia with over 6.5 million followers.
He also tweeted Panti herself, to offer his support.
Panti’s Noble Call has now gone well and truly viral after being tweeted by Rupaul and Graham Norton and being featured on websites like Gawker, The Huffington Post and MSNBC.
All this comes amid controversy following the redaction of comments about homophobia made by O’Neill on the Saturday Night Show, and a payout made to members of the Iona Institute and John Waters in relation to said comments.
The video has been viewed more than 200,000 times in less than three days.
