MEET STEVE.
And meet Steve’s pals.
They are: Phyllis, Engelbert, Enoch, Madelyn, Edna, Hercules, Loretta, Josh, Eeyore, Waylon and Bikini the pig.
Not forgetting Stuart the rabbit.
Steve adopts dogs. Not just young and vibrant puppies though. He adopts older dogs. Dogs who have seen a thing or two. Dogs with a story to tell. And he’s the best thing on Instagram.
Engelbert
Engelbert the 5lb chihuahua came to Steve from a “terribly abusive home”, became an “unwanted shelter dog with medical issues” before moving to the “top of the pack of nine other dogs and a temperamental pig”.
Steve says he’s “continually amazed” by Engelbert’s journey.
Engelbert, meanwhile, takes baths in salad bowls and gets lifts from his big pal Enoch.
Hercules
Hercules is 18. He can’t quite make it up the stairs but he does ok. Loves his breakfast.
Enoch
Enoch the wolfhound looks after everyone. Especially Engelbert.
Edna
Edna came to live with Steve and co about a year-and-a-half ago. She’s a 12-year-old bichon mix whose owners couldn’t care for her anymore. She LOVES walks.
Bikini
Bikini the pig rules the roost. And the dinner plates.
Steve (who also looks after cats, ducks, pigeons, you name it) regularly posts updates about his brood on Instagram, and it will bring such joy into your life.
