Stolen tree returned to Lusk launderette after owner posts excellent letter to thieves

The Santa guilt-trip is the biggest trip of all.

WHEN A TREE was stolen from laundry shop Life’s 2 Short for Laundry, owner Sandra Hickey felt that something needed to be said about it.

Her fantastically-named shop was little consolation when her bay trees and window boxes were snatched from their rightful place outside the Lusk launderette.

But wait. While the outlook for retrieving the trees seemed bleak, there have been developments. Presumably the green-fingered thieves feared a bag of coal in their Christmas stocking and returned the trees after Sandra’s wrath.

They’re BAAACK. Look at it there, in all its bobbled glory.

Delighted with the miraculous return of her beloved tree, Sandra then posted another letter to grant the thief redemption.

All’s well that ends well.
