A new website has taken an ‘innovative’ approach to advertising their plus-sized range, by avoiding using a model who fits them.
Online store on Chinese ecommerce giant Alibaba, Herry He’s store, chose instead to squeeze a slim model inside one of the stretchy legs of a pair of plus-sized leggings.
Yes, really.

Is it a crude dig at plus-size figures? A way to skimp on the model budget? An effective way to demonstrate the stretchy leggings?
It’s worth noting that other images on the shop website contain women who actually fit in the jeans, making the decision to contain these photos even more baffling.
With a five out of five rating, it seems they’re doing something right.
