Schools force students to sign anti-twerking contract

What has Miley started?

TWERKING IS EVERYWHERE right now, so it should come as no surprise that American high schools are panicked.

To combat the risk of students suggestively bouncing their bottoms, some schools are asking students to sign contracts prohibiting the behaviour ahead of their school dances.

South River High School in Maryland’s contract states that no ‘sexually explicit dancing’ will be tolerated:

Sexually explicit dancing is defined as the following:
  • Freaking, grinding, or any other dancing that can be construed as vulgar or provocative – including TWERKING
  • No back to front dancing; no squatting or bending
  • No hands on the knees or on the floor with buttocks facing or touching a partner or in the air
  • No ‘making out’ (overt and/or prolonged public displays of affection)

Liberty High School keeps it simple, here is its contract:

Note the capitalisation of Twerking – at least they’re giving it the respect it deserves.

Oh Miley… what have you done?
