The wait is over: Superquinn sausages go on sale in SuperValu today

Not only have the sausages been rolled out nationwide but the increase in demand from our hungry tummies has created 12 jobs.

IN AUGUST, THE nation stood still* when the news was announced that Superquinn was no more and that it was to be renamed SuperValu, but the question on everyone’s lips was:

Thankfully, Musgraves and SuperValu were quick to inform people not to worry:

Today, the news you have all been wating for: Superquinn sausages have just gone on sale in all SuperValu stores today.

In a statement from SuperValu, they state all stores will stock the popular Superquinn sausage 12 pack, which will retail for €4 and they’re expecting additional sales of €2 million of the sausages in the first year.

Job creation

Not only do we all get to enjoy the sausages, but ABP Ireland, the company who produce the award winning Superquinn sausage, has created 12 new jobs in order to cater for the increase in new demand at its processing facility at ABP Cahir, County Tipperary.
