PIC: The Taoiseach tried on Google Glasses today
Pic via Merrion Street
“THE BEST SMALL country in the world in which to wear totally cool and snazzy glasses,” the Taoiseach might have said as he tried out Google Glass earlier today.
Enda Kenny got a demonstration of Google Glass, the tech giant’s innovative and still to be released smart glasses, at Google headquarters in Dublin earlier.
We’re not sure yet what the Taoiseach made of them but we do know that his government is considering banning drivers from wearing them when the product goes on general sale next year, as we revealed last month.
The new wearable technology is currently being trialed by Google with a small number of developers testing the glasses which provide smartphone-like information in handsfree format via voice commands.
