Taylor Swift, Liam Payne and Drake... it's our celeb winners and losers of the week

Some will win, some will lose.

DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.

Losers

Liam Payne

The former One Direction star got the shite torn out of him by Jason DeRulo of all people in a televised rap battle.

Taking a swipe at the age gap between him and missus Cheryl (formely known as Cole), DeRulo said:

Your biggest win is havin’ an older woman. But holla at ya boy when you sell a hunnid million.”

Fightin’ talk Jay. Good luck with that burn, Payno.

Drake

Perpetual loser Drake admitted in an interview this week that he collects Hermes Birkin handbags for his future wife because he is a sap.

You still would though, in fairness.

Lindsay Lohan

Nobody wants to chat with LiLo, it seems. She’s flat out reaching out to people on Twitter for a chat – most recently, Kendrick Lamar.

No word on whether he did slide in to her DMs in the end.

Winners

Taylor Swift

With the release of her album ‘Reputation’ yesterday, Swift has already gone to number 1 on iTunes in 100 countries at the time of writing.

(Context: iTunes has 119 stores globally).

Regardless of whether people like it or not, Tay is going to make BANK on this album – especially given the fact that she’s keeping it off streaming services for at least a week.

Well played, Tay.

Kathy Griffin

Not many people would continue with a performance after fainting on stage. Comedian Kathy Griffin is not one of those people.

After 2.5 hours on stage at her Dublin gig, Griffin fainted, but valiantly returned to the stage shortly after.

Kathy posted a video on Twitter just after her show, to let fans know that she was feeling better.

Legend.
