OUR NEW FAVOURITE thing on the internet has to be the Teenage Bedrooms on Screen blog, which helpfully screenshots some classic rooms from the best teen movies out there for our nostalgic entertainment.

These are the best ones we could find:
1. Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999)
Note the homemade glitter-based noticeboard and eclectic photo montage style that graces the wall of many a teenage bedroom.
2. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
These two rooms couldn’t be more different in styles – representing their characters perfectly. One has the leather jacket hanging up on the wall and an array of rock posters, while the other has three little furry friends watching on and teenage magazines on the wall.
3. Uncle Buck (1989)
Here you can see an 80s style throw across the bed and what looks like green wicker furniture in the corner. Too cool.
4. Bring It On (2000)
It’s your standard “jam” area, with posters on the wall and amps on the floor. This set was probably used for all teen rom-coms around the turn of the century.
5. Back to the Future Part II (1989)
When Marty stumbles into the wrong room when he returns of the 80s, all we could notice was the classic Michael Jackson poster on the wall.
6. Pretty in Pink (1986)
The oversized red radio was the staple of any cool 80s bedroom, we’re assuming.
7. Riding in Cars with Boys (2001)
The ring binder and crumpled up pieces of paper are quintessentially old school.
8. The Princess Diaries (2001)
The subtle pastel colours come together well to give you a heady shot of early 00s style.
9. Crossroads (2002)
The 1990s-style stereo system is the highlight of this room – coupled with the massive CD collection stored underneath. Those two key features were the heartbeat of every 90s kid’s bedroom.
