WE’RE NOT SURE what to make of this monstrously long proposal video.
In a highly innovative move, Justin Baldoni decided to plan and shoot an elaborate proposal and upload it to YouTube so that it could inevitably go viral.
The actor, who has appeared in CSI and ‘Spring Break Shark Attack’, proposed to his actress girlfriend Emily Foxler by making a mini movie called The Proposal (we think that name has been taken).
Baldoni took Foxler to the restaurant where they had their first date, the Blu Jam Cafe in LA, where he showed her the video of the proposal he put together all the while filming her reaction.
He exhausts every single proposal method, but in case you haven’t got 27 minutes to spare, here’s the highlights:
It starts off with an NSYNC lipsync
Into a Boyz II Men lipsync
… then a Dancing Queen lipsync
There’s the ‘flashmob’ to Bruno Mars – Marry You
A strange movie clip type thing happens
A memories video montage gears us up for emotions
Happy emotional family moment #1 takes place
Happy emotional family moment #2 follows
Her mother makes a surprise appearance for happy emotional family moment #3
Her father’s grave makes an appearance…
Justin finally gets around to proposing, 23 minutes in
Then there are actual credits. Romantic
