This week: An unholy row has broken out among our staffers on whether they consider Jaffa Cakes to be biscuits or cakes. One member of sister site TheScore.ie believes that as cakes go hard when they fall out of date but biscuits go soggy, they should be considered… cakes. To which a writer on TheJournal.ie newsdesk yelped: “But they’re in the BISCUIT aisle.”
