The burning question*: Is it okay to go to the cinema on your own?

It’s Monday, so let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. The week is stretching out in front of you and you have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here inTheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing questions.

This week: When one of our journalists over on The Daily Edge mentioned going to the cinema on their own, it provoked a few indignant comments along the lines of, ‘Who on earth goes to the cinema on their own?!’

We had no idea you felt so strongly about it.

So let’s open it to the floor: Is it okay to go to the cinema on your own?

A. Of course it is, or…

B. …No, it’s terribly sad to go to movies on your own.
