RTÉ shared the very first TV appearance of The Corrs, broadcast 26 years ago this weekend
THE RTÉ ARCHIVES is a consistent source of nostalgic joy.
Every day they trawl through old footage and dig out some absolute gems – like a 10-year-old Saoirse Ronan in the drama Proof and, of course, Pint Baby.
Recently, they shared a clip from November 3, 1991 – the first time The Corrs appeared on RTÉ

It was 26 years ago this weekend – as Eye on the Music went out on a Sunday night
Apart from The Corrs, it was a pretty Commitments-heavy line-up that night featuring Andrew Strong and The Black Velvet Band – with Maria Doyle Kennedy as its lead singer.
The Corrs would go on to bigger things – but this is where it all began.
