EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have broken up, ending their 10 month relationship amid rumours last week that she’s seeing Justin Bieber.
“Multiple” sources told People Magazine about why the pair have split, with one saying:
She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship. It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.
Selena always made an effort to attend his shows when she could but that played a part in them getting distant. It’s over for now, but they’re still in touch.
It’s been coming for a while though:
It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months.
Talk of Bieber and Gomez getting back together is “untrue” though – even though the pair have been hanging out recently, spotted over the weekend at lunch and at a gig together:

Louis Walsh popped up on Loose Women yesterday to talk all things X Factor, Simon Cowell and his recent fall.
But people are mostly focusing on a perceived sly dig at Cheryl.
When asked about Alesha Dixon stepping in for Cowell as a judge instead of Cheryl, Louis said:
Well Alesha has done more auditions. And she’s a team player.

Someone on Twitter pointed out that Lady Gaga’s Halloween costume this year is… quite similar in style to normal outfits she wears the rest of the year.
“Lady Gaga: On Halloween // The rest of the year”:
Gaga had an explanation though:
Lady Gaga as The Ghost of Christmas Past – coming December 2017.
