FOR THE NEW series of RTE’s hidden camera show The Fear, Jennifer Maguire knocked on Dublin doors threatening to install a water meter.

However one homeowner took severe umbrage with the notion. So much so, in fact, that she resorted to fetching a kitchen knife.

Cue panicked retreat down the front path.
