LAST NIGHT THE wonderful documentary The Irish Pub aired on RTÉ One.

The film acts as a “tribute to the greatest institution in Irish society” and captures not just the pubs themselves, but the publicans who run them.

The Irish Pub highlights some great characters, some great pub characteristics, and brought back some great memories of the establishments features.

Pubs like….

Where you can buy putty (1), wellies (2), an oven glove (3), WD-40 (4) if the fancy takes you.
