This Late Late Show audience member's face won last night's same sex marriage debate
RTÉ RTÉ
LAST NIGHT, THE Late Late Show hosted a debate on the forthcoming same sex marriage referendum.
Speaking out for the Yes side were Irish Times journalist Una Mullally and Amnesty International’s Colm O’Gorman, while Keith Mills and Petra Conroy were the No side’s main representatives.
The discussion featured contributions from the audience, with Senator Averil Power and Senator Jim Walsh among those weighing in on the topic.
At one point, a woman from the audience was asked to weigh in and described her belief that a child benefitted from having a mother and a father, as men and women were different and brought “different things to parenting”.
While she was delivering her spiel, however, the camera caught the reaction of the audience member behind her…

She wasn’t the only one unable to conceal her opinion.
This woman also caught the attention of everyone at home.
