This Irish animated short narrated by George Takei is pure brilliance
A YEAR AFTER it was shortlisted for an Academy Award, Irish short The Missing Scarf has been made available to view online.
Directed by Carlow native Eoin Duffy, The Missing Scarf won several awards at international film festivals after it premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2013. It was nominated for an IFTA and was shortlisted for Best Animated Short at last year’s Oscars.
It’s a black comedy that tells the tale of a squirrel looking for his missing scarf. Along the way, he encounters other woodland creatures who are all preoccupied with their own existential concerns.
