Time Magazine wants to ban the word 'feminist' and the internet isn't happy
TIME MAGAZINE IS currently holding a poll of words we should ban in 2015.
The usual offenders are present on the list – obvi, bae, basic – but there’s one word on the list that has caused a few raised eyebrows.
And that word is ‘feminist’.

Katy Steinmetz, the author of the piece, defended the word’s inclusion on the list, noting that she was opposed to “media trends” as opposed to feminism itself.
As for the poll itself? ‘Bae’ is currently leading the charge, followed by ‘feminist’ and ‘om nom nom nom’.
