Look at the scenes in Thurles tonight as the Tipp hurling team arrived home
IT WAS ONLY yesterday that they were out lifting the Liam McCarthy Cup in Croke Park after a thrilling contest with Kilkenny.
As is tradition, the team – along with the victorious minor hurlers – returned to Tipperary on the Monday night for the official homecoming.
And there was some crowd in Semple Stadium in Thurles to greet them
It looks like something you’d see at Electric Picnic over the weekend
The scenes were as joyous as you’d expect
There were proper Tipp tunes belted out
And We Are The Champions, of course
Those that couldn’t be there watched on proudly
It’ll be some night in the county – and well deserved for all
