A MEXICAN TRAIN driver has been sacked after he was filmed playing Farmville on the job.

A passenger spotted what the operator was at and started filming.

The video was widely publicised and criticised in Mexican media, who called for the man’s dismissal.

A statement from Mexico City’s Sistema de Transporte Colectivo indicates that the the driver’s behaviour was “outside the norm, manuals and protocols in the STC and especially the high responsibility of his task”.
