TV NETWORKS LIKE to have their fair share of input into the shows they commission and broadcast, from initial concept, through production and up to the finished product.

The writers get the brunt of it.

Twitter account TVNetworkNotes contains– often hilarious, vague and contradicting– snippets of comments made by studio executives to writers before they gave their projects the green light.
