JUST AS YOU did with the ice bucket challenge, you might start to see a trend happening on your various social media feeds – this time, people taking selfies with tampons.
What’s it all about, though? Well, the campaign wants to break the stigma of periods because it’s 2015 and some people are still too embarrassed to talk about them:
It was put together by @PlanUK, and they are also concerned that the cost of tampons is constantly rising, and that’s not fair for women all over the world to have to deal with.
So, the result was #JustATampon.
