There was a heartwarming surprise in the TXFM studios today in the run up to their final shows

A lovely moment in the station’s final days.

TXFM SADLY CEASES broadcasting tomorrow, and people are pretty torn up about it.

The staff have been inundated with tributes in their final week, but one particular DJ got the ultimate surprise live on air today.

DJ Claire Beck was doing her penultimate show, when her favourite musician John Grant arrived to surprise her

It was an emotional moment, with Claire losing all ability to chat

Claire flew all the way to Iceland to see him live, so he returned the favour and arrived at the TXFM studio on his holidays to deliver a hug and some flowers.

Just lovely.
